hypothetical situation #1:
male friend from class [previously strangers before the semester began] asks a female if she wants to go bowling this weekend. is the bowling intended as a hang out or a date? female is actually dating another female but has a stereotypically "straight" appearance. female has dropped the word, "girlfriend", into a prior conversation two weeks ago. male also permeated questionable body odor last week.
exchanged numbers and was not until female was in her next class she realized the possibly problematic intentions of male. female is expected to call him on saturday. texting is a no go as male's phone screen is broken.
female is awkward.
